  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 packet gelatin Optional for thicker mousse
For the Trifle Layers
  • 4 pieces ripe peaches Peeled and sliced
  • Ladyfinger cookies or pieces of sponge cake Used for layering
  • Mint leaves For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Peel and slice the ripe peaches, setting aside some slices for garnish.
Make the Mousse
  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream on medium speed until it begins to thicken.
  2. Gradually add sugar and continue to whip until soft peaks form.
Add Yogurt and Flavor
  1. In another bowl, combine peach yogurt, vanilla extract, and gelatin (if using).
  2. Gently fold this mixture into the whipped cream until well combined, taking care not to deflate the cream.
Layer the Trifle
  1. In a large trifle dish or individual glasses, begin layering with ladyfinger pieces or sponge cake.
  2. Add a layer of mousse, followed by a layer of sliced peaches. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of mousse on top.

  2. Garnish with mint leaves and reserved peach slices before enjoying.
