- Start by crushing your ice if it isn’t already. You can use a blender or ice crusher for this step. Aim for a consistency that’s fluffy, not too watery.
- In a blender, combine the crushed ice, flavored syrup or juice, and water (if using).
- Blend the mixture on high speed until it's smooth and completely mixed.
- Do a quick taste test. If it’s too sweet for your liking, add a little more water. For a richer flavor, add extra syrup. Blend again to combine.
- Pour the slushy into cups and add toppings like fresh fruit, whipped cream, or mint leaves for a pop of color.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 days. Let them sit at room temperature to soften or pulse in the blender to refresh.
