  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/2 cup brewed jasmine tea (cooled) Use high-quality tea for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: chopped nuts or fruits for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a strong cup of jasmine tea and let it cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cooled jasmine tea, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Blend the mixture using a whisk or an electric mixer until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
Churning and Freezing
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  2. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 3-4 hours to firm up completely.
Serving
  1. Scoop into bowls or cones and top with your choice of chopped nuts or fresh fruits before serving.

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container in the freezer for 2-3 weeks. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
