Preparation
- Brew a strong cup of jasmine tea and let it cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cooled jasmine tea, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Blend the mixture using a whisk or an electric mixer until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
Churning and Freezing
- Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 3-4 hours to firm up completely.
Serving
- Scoop into bowls or cones and top with your choice of chopped nuts or fresh fruits before serving.
Notes
To store, keep in an airtight container in the freezer for 2-3 weeks. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
