Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the peanut butter until fully integrated.
- Sift in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top if desired.
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Freeze wrapped pieces in plastic wrap for up to three months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before enjoying.
