Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, stir the melted butter and sugar together until smooth. Then add the eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract, and whisk until fully combined.
  4. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
