Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for your delicious bars.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until evenly coated, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Spread the raspberry preserves over the crust, ensuring it covers the entire area evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded coconut over the raspberry layer, followed by the chocolate chips. If using nuts, sprinkle them on top of the chocolate chips.
- Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire mixture, making sure every bit is covered.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Let the bars cool in the pan before slicing them into squares or rectangles. Enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for about 3 months. Thaw at room temperature or microwave slightly to restore texture. Consider using coconut oil as a butter alternative for a tropical flavor.
