  • 4 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) For extra flavor
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat dry the chicken thighs with a paper towel.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning generously over the chicken thighs.
Cooking
  1. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip them over so the skin side is up.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes
