Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat dry the chicken thighs with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix together the ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning generously over the chicken thighs.
Cooking
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip them over so the skin side is up.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Enjoy your flavorful Ranch Chicken Thighs!
Notes
For extra heat, consider adding red pepper flakes to the seasoning blend. You can also toss in some veggies like bell peppers and onions around the chicken in the skillet before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
