Preparation

  3. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring continually, keeping the heat low.
  4. Slowly add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Mix in the diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and jalapeƱos, stirring to combine.
  6. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes until heated through and bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

Consider using pepper jack cheese for added flavor. Store leftover queso in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
