  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces Use cold for flakiness.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice) Choose your preferred cheese.
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to preference.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter pieces to the flour mixture and work until it resembles coarse cbs.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheese and minced garlic.
  5. Pour in the milk, stirring gently until the dough just comes together.
  6. On a floured surface, turn out the dough, knead it gently, and pat to 1-inch thickness. Cut out biscuit shapes.
Baking
  1. Place the biscuits on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let them cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, use garlic-infused butter and avoid over-kneading to maintain fluffiness.
