Ingredients

For the cinnamon roll bites
  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough Can be pre-cut or rolled.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter For coating the dough.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon For mixing with sugar.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Used in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 1/2 cup icing or glaze Optional for drizzling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough. If your dough comes pre-cut, cut the rolls into quarters. Otherwise, you can roll the dough into a log and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Dip each dough piece into melted butter, then roll it into the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  5. Place the coated dough pieces into the greased baking dish, ensuring they are not too crowded.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  2. If using icing, drizzle it over the top of the warm cinnamon roll bites once they have cooled for a few minutes.
  3. Serve warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. They can be frozen for up to two months. Reheat in the oven at a low temperature to retain fluffiness.
