Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough. If your dough comes pre-cut, cut the rolls into quarters. Otherwise, you can roll the dough into a log and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Dip each dough piece into melted butter, then roll it into the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
- Place the coated dough pieces into the greased baking dish, ensuring they are not too crowded.
Baking
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- If using icing, drizzle it over the top of the warm cinnamon roll bites once they have cooled for a few minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. They can be frozen for up to two months. Reheat in the oven at a low temperature to retain fluffiness.
