Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips Use high-quality for best results.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • to taste chopped nuts (for topping, optional)
  • to taste cinnamon (for a sprinkle, optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by lining an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and white chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Once the mixture is smooth, remove it from heat and add in the vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2-3 hours, or until the fudge is set.
  6. Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the dish using the parchment paper. Cut it into squares, and if desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts and a dash of cinnamon.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use high-quality white chocolate. To customize flavor, add a touch of maple syrup or a splash of almond milk. Ensure the fudge chills long enough to avoid crumbling.
