  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, milk, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  5. Pour and Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 9x9-inch pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
