- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, salt, and lemon juice. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and allow the mixture to simmer for about 20-25 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- After about 25 minutes, check the texture. It should be thick and spreadable. If it’s too runny, simmer for a few more minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a jar or airtight container for storage.

Store your Pumpkin Butter in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator or freeze it for up to 6 months.
