Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Allow to cool slightly after melting.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
For the Bread
  • 1 loaf of bread (Italian or French) Use a soft loaf for the best texture.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to mix in other cheeses if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully cut the loaf of bread into a grid pattern without cutting all the way through.
  3. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create your garlic butter.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously into the cuts of the loaf.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese into each section of the bread.
  6. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil, sealing the ends tightly, and place it on a baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.
  2. After baking, uncover the bread and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, then serve.

Notes

Store leftover garlic bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly and freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
