Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 batch pretzel dough (homemade or store-bought) You can use pre-made dough for convenience.
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted For brushing on the pretzel bites.
  • to taste grams coarse salt For sprinkling on top before air frying.
Dipping sauce (optional)
  • to taste grams cheese sauce For dipping.

Method

Preparation
  1. If using homemade pretzel dough, prepare it according to your recipe. If using store-bought, roll it out and cut it into small bite-sized pieces.
  2. Roll each piece of dough into a ball or small oval shape, ensuring they’re of similar size.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (149°C).
  2. Boil water in a large pot and carefully drop in the dough bites, boiling for about 30 seconds.
  3. Remove the bites with a slotted spoon, draining any excess water. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Brush the tops of each pretzel bite with melted butter and sprinkle them with coarse salt.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Serve warm alongside cheese sauce or your favorite dips.

Notes

Store leftover pretzel bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze them in a freezer-safe bag for up to a month. Reheat in the air fryer at 300°F for 3-5 minutes.
