- In a food processor, pulse the peeled and deveined prawns until they are coarsely chopped. This will ensure a delightful texture in your Prawns Cake.
- In a large bowl, combine the minced prawns, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, and eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined; you want a mixture that holds together well.
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into small cakes, about the size of your palm. Aim for about 1-inch thick patties for even cooking.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once it’s hot, add the patties—do not overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the patties from the pan and let them drain on paper towels. Serve your Prawns Cake with a side of fresh salad or dipping sauce!
