Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt.
  2. Peel the potatoes using a vegetable peeler.
  3. Cut each potato into thin sticks about ½ inch thick, resembling fingers.
  4. Place the potato sticks in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and paprika if desired.
  5. Toss the potatoes gently to coat them evenly with the seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the seasoned potato sticks evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they’re not overcrowded.
  3. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crisp.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  2. Enjoy plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, ensure potato sticks are completely dry before tossing with oil. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
