Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it nice and hot while you prepare the casserole.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, milk, cooked rice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Baking
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once done, take it out from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven; adding a splash of milk helps restore moisture.
