  • 1 pound shrimp tails, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can be substituted with melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice (for serving)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to broil. Ensure your oven rack is about six inches from the heat source.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned shrimp tails in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet under the broiler and cook for about 4-6 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and have nicely charred edges. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning!
  2. Once done, remove from the oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, and sprinkle with chopped parsley for additional flavor.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
