Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Toss well to evenly coat them.
- In another bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Reserve 1/4 cup for later.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken and let it sit for at least 15 minutes while you prep everything else. If you have time, marinating for 30-60 minutes will enhance the flavor even more.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Sauté on each side for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly and coats the chicken with a glossy glaze.
Serving
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To freeze, place cooled chicken in a freezer-safe container for about 2 months.
