Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal.
Melting Chocolate
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
- Once melted, pour the dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread to form an even layer (about 1/4 inch thick).
Adding Peppermint
- Sprinkle half of the crushed peppermint candies over the warm dark chocolate and gently press them in.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the same manner and pour over the dark chocolate layer.
- Spread the white chocolate evenly and top with remaining crushed peppermint candies.
Setting the Bark
- Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 30-60 minutes until set.
- Break into pieces once set or use a knife for defined cuts.
