  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (Halal-friendly)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch For texture.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Or your preferred cooking oil.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
  1. Begin by slicing your beef, bell peppers, and onions into thin strips for a quick cook.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, garlic, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer and sauté for about 4-5 minutes or until browned.
  3. Once the beef is browned, add the sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  4. Taste and season with salt and pepper, adjusting to your preference. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding other vegetables such as broccoli or snap peas. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge, or freeze for up to 2 months.
