Preparation
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the marshmallows until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add the peanut butter. Stir until well incorporated and creamy.
- Slowly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow-peanut butter mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and gently press down without packing too tightly.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Once set, cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh marshmallows for best texture. Customize by mixing in chocolate chips or nuts.
