Ingredients
  

For the cake
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix Any brand you prefer
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk Whole or your preferred alternative
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Halal-friendly
  • 1 cup crushed peanut butter cups Halal-friendly
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
For serving (optional)
  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, milk, and vegetable oil. Blend until smooth.
  3. Gently swirl in the peanut butter, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  4. Fold in half of the chocolate chips and crushed peanut butter cups.
  5. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and pour the mixture in, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and crushed peanut butter cups on top.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Once baked, let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for about a week. Freeze tightly wrapped for up to two months.
