- Peel and slice ripe bananas, then place them in a freezer-safe container. Freeze the banana slices for at least 2 hours or until solid.
- Combine frozen banana slices with peanut butter, honey (if using), and vanilla extract in a food processor or blender.
- Blend until achieving a creamy, smooth texture. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides for even mixing.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the flavors as desired with more peanut butter or honey.
- Transfer the blend to an airtight container, and freeze for another hour to thicken further.
- Scoop out the desired amount and enjoy!
Notes
Store the ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for about 2-3 weeks. Let it sit out for a few minutes to soften before serving to maintain its creamy texture.
