Ingredients
  

Peach Filling
  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Crust and Topping
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss until the peaches are well-coated and set aside.
Making the Crust and Crumble
  1. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Assembling the Bars
  1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom as the crust.
  2. Spread the peach mixture evenly on top.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the peaches.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days; freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, microwave for 20-30 seconds or warm in the oven.
