  • 2 cups brewed black tea (cooled) Brew and cool the black tea before mixing.
  • 1/2 cup passion fruit juice Freshly squeezed is best for flavor.
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • to taste Ice Fill glasses with ice.
  • to taste Fresh mint leaves Use for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil water and steep the black tea bags for about 5 minutes. Remove the bags and let the tea cool.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled black tea and fresh passion fruit juice.
  3. Stir in the simple syrup and adjust the sweetness by adding more if preferred.
  4. Fill tall glasses with ice and pour the Passion Fruit Iced Tea over the top until filled.
  5. Top each glass with a sprig of fresh mint to enhance both the look and flavor.

Notes

Store any leftover iced tea in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Best enjoyed fresh. Avoid over-steeping the tea to prevent bitterness.
