  • 1 package pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For brushing
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Add more for extra flavor
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Can substitute with your favorite Italian herbs

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. If your pizza dough is refrigerated, let it come to room temperature.
  3. Flour a clean surface and roll out your pizza dough; cut it into 1-inch strips, about 6-8 inches long.
  4. Tie each strip into a knot, tucking the ends underneath, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Making the Garlic Butter
  1. In a small bowl, combine melted butter with minced garlic and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
Baking
  1. Generously brush the garlic butter mix over each knot.
  2. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and dried oregano evenly over the knots.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, brush with more melted garlic butter and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  2. Let cool for a minute, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
