Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces ripe peaches, sliced into wedges
Cooking ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Opt for unsalted to keep it simple yet delicious.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • a pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Slice them into wedges, discarding the pit in the center.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Once the butter is foamy, add the peach wedges to the pan in a single layer. It’s crucial not to overcrowd the pan—this ensures even cooking.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt over the peaches. Gently stir to allow the peaches to coat evenly.
  4. Sauté the peaches for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they become golden brown and tender.
  5. Once cooked, remove from heat and serve immediately. A little homemade vanilla yogurt or a scoop of ice cream makes a perfect companion!

Notes

For healthier alternatives, consider using coconut oil instead of butter. Avoid overcrowding the pan. If you have more peaches than fit comfortably, cook them in batches.
