  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • 4 pieces scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce For drizzling before serving.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (or any cooking oil of your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning.
  • Lemon wedges for serving Fresh lemon adds brightness.

Preparation
  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced ginger and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Carefully place the seasoned fish fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the chopped scallions over the fish, letting them soften slightly but retaining their freshness.
Serving
  1. Transfer the fish to a platter, drizzle with soy sauce, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When reheating, use a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water to maintain crispiness.
