- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Place the cut croissant pieces evenly in the dish, spreading them out to create the foundation.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Stir in your choice of cheese and vegetables into the egg mixture. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
- Evenly pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces, pressing them down slightly to ensure they soak in the liquid.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for the best flavor).
- Remove the casserole from the fridge and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set. Let cool slightly before serving.
