Ingredients
  

For the fries
  • 4 large russet potatoes Make sure they are scrubbed clean.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and dry them. Cut each potato into quarters lengthwise to create steak fry shapes.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well-coated.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the potato wedges out evenly in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Bake the potato fries in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  2. Once baked, let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

These fries can be served with a variety of sauces like ketchup, garlic aioli, or tahini. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and reheat in an oven or air fryer to regain crispiness.
