Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and dry them. Cut each potato into quarters lengthwise to create steak fry shapes.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well-coated.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the potato wedges out evenly in a single layer.
Cooking
- Bake the potato fries in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- Once baked, let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
These fries can be served with a variety of sauces like ketchup, garlic aioli, or tahini. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and reheat in an oven or air fryer to regain crispiness.
