Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta (any type) Choose your favorite pasta type.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing the garlic.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds best flavor.
  • 2 cups vegetable broth Can substitute with chicken broth.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a creamy texture.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese For richness and flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.
  • as needed Fresh parsley (for garnish) Chopped for garnish.

Method

Cooking
  1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic; it should be golden brown.
  2. Pour in 2 cups of vegetable broth and bring to a gentle boil. Add your 8 oz of pasta, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the pasta cook for approximately 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's al dente and most of the liquid has evaporated.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Remove the pot from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

To ensure your One-Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta turns out spectacular every time, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version, or coconut cream for a dairy-free option. Stir occasionally to avoid overcooking the pasta, which should be al dente.
