Preparation
- Gather all the ingredients and have them ready on your countertop.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the brown sugar and milk. Stir gently until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Once the sugar has dissolved, add in the butter. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes smooth and thickens slightly.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Taste your glaze and adjust if necessary.
- Let the glaze cool for a few minutes before drizzling over your favorite dishes.
- If you like, you can pop it in the fridge to thicken it further.
Notes
Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. If freezing, use a freezer-safe container for up to three months. Reheat over low heat in a saucepan, stirring gently until warm and smooth.
