Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (15.35 oz) – finely crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese – softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter – creamy or crunchy Based on preference
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips – for coating
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract – for added flavor Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or pulse them in a food processor until finely ground.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, softened cream cheese, and peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the Truffles: Scoop out small portions of the mixture, about one tablespoon each, and roll them into balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 30 minutes to firm up the truffles.
  5. Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Coat the Truffles: Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork, ensuring they’re fully coated, then return to the parchment paper.
  7. Set and Enjoy: Allow the coated truffles to cool and harden in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them airtight in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage. Try different chocolate coatings or flavor variations during preparation.
