  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into small pieces in a zip-top bag or using a food processor. Save a handful for garnish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently whisk in the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until fully incorporated and the mixture begins to thicken (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Fold in the whipped topping gently to maintain that airy texture.
  5. Add the crushed Oreo cookies to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  6. Spoon the mixture into a serving bowl or individual cups, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Top with the saved Oreo crumbs or chocolate shavings for serving.
