Preparation
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a resealable bag with a rolling pin until you have a mixture of crumb and chunk.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend them until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the mini chocolate chips and crushed Oreo pieces, reserving a few for garnish.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes if desired, but it can also be served immediately.
- Scoop into bowls or form into cookie-like shapes on a serving plate. Top with the reserved crushed Oreos.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or freeze for up to three months. Let thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
