  • 1 package Oreo cookies Crushed for the mixture
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a resealable bag with a rolling pin until you have a mixture of crumb and chunk.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend them until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the mini chocolate chips and crushed Oreo pieces, reserving a few for garnish.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes if desired, but it can also be served immediately.
  5. Scoop into bowls or form into cookie-like shapes on a serving plate. Top with the reserved crushed Oreos.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days or freeze for up to three months. Let thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
