Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup your choice!
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup protein powder optional, but recommended
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and ensure they are at room temperature to make mixing easier.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  3. Gradually mix in the oats, chocolate chips, and protein powder one at a time to ensure all components are evenly distributed.
  4. Using a spatula, mix until a dough-like consistency is reached. It might be a bit sticky, but that’s what makes them delicious!
  5. With clean hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter. The mixture should yield approximately 12-15 balls.
  6. Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help firm them up.
  7. After chilling, enjoy! These bites can be kept in the refrigerator or freezer.

Notes

For substitutions, feel free to use almond butter or sunflower seed butter if peanut butter isn't your preference. Don’t skip the chilling step for perfect texture. Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator or freeze for up to three months.
