Preparation
- Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish or a similar-sized pan to ensure easy serving later.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed gra crackers with melted butter. Stir until they are evenly coated and have a cbly texture. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- In another large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Carefully fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the gra cracker crust, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
- Pour the cherry pie filling over the cream layer, spreading it evenly to cover the dessert.
- Refrigerate the dish for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Once sufficiently chilled, slice and serve.
Notes
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving. For a firmer consistency, chill overnight.
