Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the melted white chocolate into the cream cheese mixture. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined and the texture is smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan, spreading it into an even layer with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until the fudge is firm.
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut it into squares and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
For creamier fudge, ensure your cream cheese is fully softened. You can experiment with flavored chocolate chips, such as dark or milk chocolate. Keep the fudge chilled until serving, as it softens quickly at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze wrapped individually.
