  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken Ensure chicken is well-cooked and shredded.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Let cream cheese soften at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve some for topping.
  • 1/4 cup Nashville hot chicken seasoning Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional) Use more or less depending on spice preference.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to your liking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Fold in the cooked, shredded chicken, Nashville hot chicken seasoning, chopped pickles, and optional hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, saving a handful for topping.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Top the dip with the reserved cheddar cheese and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Pair it with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crusty bread for the best experience.

Notes

For Halal, ensure you use certified chicken. You can substitute cream cheese with a plant-based option or Greek yogurt. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
