- Find a large mixing bowl and a cookie sheet. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal in the large bowl. Gently fold the cereal until it’s well coated with the chocolate and peanut butter mix.
- Add the powdered sugar to the bowl and toss until all pieces are evenly coated. You may want to do this in batches for easier mixing.
- Spread the coated mixture onto the lined cookie sheet, ensuring it’s in an even layer. Let it cool for about 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, break apart the clusters and store them in an airtight container. Enjoy your Muddy Buddies!

Store Muddy Buddies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Refrigeration can prolong freshness but they're best at room temperature.
