Ingredients
  

Cake and Ice Cream Layers
  • 1 package chocolate cake mix
  • 2 pints Moose Tracks ice cream Allow to soften before spreading
Fudge and Toppings
  • 1 jar hot fudge sauce Drizzle over the ice cream layer
  • 1 container whipped topping For the final layer
  • to taste Chocolate shavings or pieces For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by baking the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions in a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Once baked, let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. When the cake is cool, take the Moose Tracks ice cream out of the freezer and allow it to soften for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
Layering
  1. Place the cooled chocolate cake back in the cleaned cake pan and add a layer of Moose Tracks ice cream on top, spreading it evenly.
  2. Drizzle a generous amount of hot fudge sauce over the ice cream layer.
  3. Spread the remaining Moose Tracks ice cream over the fudge layer.
  4. Cover the entire cake with a layer of whipped topping.
Setting
  1. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer to set for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serving
  1. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or pieces, and slice it like a cake.

Notes

For a Halal alternative, use Halal-certified brands for the cake mix and ice cream. Ensure the cake has enough time to freeze; chilling overnight is recommended for firmer layers. Avoid excess fudge sauce to keep the cake from becoming soggy.
