Preparation
- Start by baking the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions in a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Once baked, let it cool completely on a wire rack.
- When the cake is cool, take the Moose Tracks ice cream out of the freezer and allow it to soften for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
Layering
- Place the cooled chocolate cake back in the cleaned cake pan and add a layer of Moose Tracks ice cream on top, spreading it evenly.
- Drizzle a generous amount of hot fudge sauce over the ice cream layer.
- Spread the remaining Moose Tracks ice cream over the fudge layer.
- Cover the entire cake with a layer of whipped topping.
Setting
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer to set for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serving
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or pieces, and slice it like a cake.

For a Halal alternative, use Halal-certified brands for the cake mix and ice cream. Ensure the cake has enough time to freeze; chilling overnight is recommended for firmer layers. Avoid excess fudge sauce to keep the cake from becoming soggy.
