For the Dip Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2-3 jalapeños, diced Adjust for heat preference
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the cheddar cheese, green onions, and diced jalapeños until evenly combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Baking
  1. Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  3. Allow the dip to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or toasted baguette slices. This dip can also be spread on sandwiches for extra flavor.
