  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill Can substitute with dried dill if fresh is unavailable.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to flavor preference.
Roll Assembly
  • 4 pieces Mini rolls or slider buns Use any preferred type of mini roll.
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves Use any type of lettuce for freshness.

Preparation
  1. Start by bringing a pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chopped dill. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Once the shrimp are cool enough to handle, chop them into small pieces and fold them into the dressing until thoroughly coated.
Assembly
  1. Take your mini rolls or slider buns and layer some fresh lettuce on the bottom.
  2. Spoon the shrimp mixture generously on top, and place the upper half of the roll.
Serving
  1. Present the mini shrimp rolls on a platter for everyone to enjoy.

Notes

For variations, substitute shrimp with cooked crab or a mix of fish that complies with halal standards. Chill the shrimp mixture for about 15 minutes after mixing to enhance flavors. Avoid overcooking shrimp to prevent rubbery texture.
