  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter Can substitute with peanut butter or sunflower butter.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts E.g., walnuts or pecans.
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  3. Gradually fold in the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and mini chocolate chips.
  4. Form small bite-sized balls from the mixture and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, cool for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or in the oven for about 5 minutes.
