Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into small portions and roll them into balls. Flatten them gently to form slider-sized patties, about 2 inches in diameter. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty.
Cooking
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill.
- Grill the sliders for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assembly
- Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Toast your slider buns lightly if preferred.
- Add your patties and top with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments.
Serving
- Serve immediately to enjoy the full flavor and juiciness of your sliders!
Notes
For substitutions, ground turkey or chicken can be used for a lighter option. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze cooked patties for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C). Avoid pressing down on the patties while grilling to keep them juicy.
