Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • pieces Slider buns For serving
  • slices Cheese slices Optional
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.) For topping
  • pieces Lettuce and tomato Optional toppings

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the mixture into small portions and roll them into balls. Flatten them gently to form slider-sized patties, about 2 inches in diameter. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill.
  2. Grill the sliders for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assembly
  1. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Toast your slider buns lightly if preferred.
  2. Add your patties and top with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately to enjoy the full flavor and juiciness of your sliders!

Notes

For substitutions, ground turkey or chicken can be used for a lighter option. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze cooked patties for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C). Avoid pressing down on the patties while grilling to keep them juicy.
