Preparation
- Rinse and chop your fruits into bite-sized pieces. For strawberries, hull and slice; for kiwis, peel and cut into cubes.
Assembly
- Take a skewer and begin layering it by first adding a piece of fruit. Alternate between different types of fruit like strawberries, blueberries, and kiwi. Add about three to four fruits per skewer.
- Take your mini dessert cups and spoon in a generous amount of whipped cream or yogurt at the bottom. This will act as a delicious base for your skewers.
- Place the completed fruit skewers into the whipped cream or yogurt-filled cups, allowing the fruit pieces to stand upright.
Serving
- Feel free to garnish with additional toppings like a sprinkle of cinnamon, a drizzle of honey, or some crushed nuts for added texture!
Notes
If you plan to serve them later, assemble the whipped cream or yogurt base and the fruit skewers separately. Assemble just before serving to maintain freshness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to two days. Avoid freezing.
