Preparation and Cooking
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
