  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley optional

Method
 

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
