  • a pinch salt Adjust to taste.
For the Vinaigrette
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, freshly squeezed Freshly squeezed is best.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can be substituted with agave syrup for a vegan option.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the fruits thoroughly. Cut watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew into bite-sized cubes. Aim for uniform sizes for even distribution.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice and honey until well combined.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, gently toss the cubed melons together. Drizzle the honey-lime vinaigrette over them and add a pinch of salt. Mix delicately to coat the fruits.
  4. Fold in the freshly chopped mint leaves for extra flavor and aroma.
  5. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Avoid using overripe melons as they may become mushy. Prepare the salad just before serving for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
